ÑAWI PACHA RITUAL

This ritual is performed to strengthen the spiritual connection they share with the camelids, and is carried out during significant events such as shearing season, births of young or breeding seasons.

Community members bring the animals to a sacred place, such as a mountain or lake, and present offerings while traditional chants are sung, accompanied by musical instruments like the quena or zampoña.
